A Song About Hope

I don’t think I have heard another song that embodies the message and spirit of President-Elect Barack Obama like this song does.  Not only does it capture his message, but I think that it also expresses the collective emotional and mental realities of the people here in America as well as the world.  We want change but have to remember that this change has to start with you…me…us!  This change has to be grounded in love and hope as well as our obligation to our fellow man and woman.  

This song is entitled, “A Song About Hope: A Beautiful Melody.”  It was written by a guy named Vernon S. Williams (who happens to be a good friend). He sang it and recorded it with a Christian group named One Message.  I have posted the lyrics so that you can read them.
